Description
Hystatab 16mg Tablet contains Betahistine which is used to prevent and treat a disorder of the inner ear also called Meniere’s diseases. The symptoms of these diseases also include ringing in the ears (tinnitus), dizziness, and loss of hearing, which probably happens because of fluid in the ear. This tablet helps in treating these symptoms by decreasing the amount of fluid.
Betahistine tablets come in the drug class called histamine analog. It helps in improving the blood flow in the inner ear which decreases the pressure of excess fluid in the ear. Surplus fluid can send signals to the brain which cause nausea, dizziness, or spinning sensations feeling to the patient.
These tablets help in reducing the excess fluid in the ear and send a positive signal to the brain which reduces the pain in the ear. Betahistine tablets are also used for vertigo disorders. It helps in fewer the attacks of vertigo episodes associated with Meniere’s disease.
